I love this woman. Her teaching system taught over a half a million kids worldwide that art and science belong together. Go figure? I am overjoyed that Agnes Chavez is one of our featured game-changing speakers at the Women As Game Changers: Creating a New Game Conference on October 13-14 in Santa Fe, NM.
Agnes Chavez is an interdisciplinary artist, educator, and social entrepreneur working at the intersection of art, science, technology and social practice. Now in its 20th year, her award-winning multi-sensory language teaching system has been used to teach more than half a million kids worldwide. She founded the STEMarts Lab which partners with new media artists and schools to provide Sci-art curricula and STEAM programs as part of museum programming, science and art festivals and developed STEAM content for Scholastic, 516 Arts and Los Alamos National Laboratory. She is now Co-Director of The Paseo. Taos’ first outdoor participatory arts festival bringing projection, performance and installation art to the streets of Taos.
At the Women As Game Changers Conference, you will meet other game-changing women like Agnes AND dive into your own game-changing idea or work through our Generative Business Process to take your work to new heights.
In our full-day “Creating a New Game” conference you will:

- Receive support from our local and global tribe of women to activate and elevate the game changer in you
All of this takes place at the beautiful and magical Sunrise Springs Resort & Spa with Nell Newman, daughter of Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward, and cofounder of Newman’s Own Organics: The Second Generation.
The night before, we’ll mingle with Santa Fe locals at our public event where Mayor Gonzales awards the sustainability superstars of Northern New Mexico — followed by a community presentation with Nell.
A tasty tale for kids of all ages.
